Creating impact: Maxton Fox at FRONT.design 2019

When it comes to delivering outstanding products across a spectrum of design projects, the Maxton Fox brand name instantly comes to mind. But that’s not all. The business also relies on local manufacturing using world-class machinery and technology, helping support the local workforce, boosting the economy and ensuring higher levels of sustainability. And so, when Maxton Fox decided to join hands with polytec at FRONT.design 2019, the expectation was nothing short of exemplary. And the brands did not disappoint. By collaborating to create the three core areas of the event venue – the main central bar, concierge and registration ticket servicing areas – they were able to come up with settings conducive for work, networking and relaxation.

Maxton Fox provided all the occasional furniture around the Main Bar on Level 4. This ensured visitors were able to experience their products as they relaxed and lounged.  Internationally-acclaimed Australian designer, Jamie Durie engaged visitors around the Maxton Fox stand with some illuminating insights on Australian design.

Some of the brand’s inventive products at the two-day event included:

Hue table

Injecting an element of fun into the workspace, the Hue table makes an impression with its bright powder-coated base detailing. The table, which featured prominently at the event venue, is ideal for use as an informal meeting table and even within communal eating areas and cafeteria spaces.

Social ottoman

With a classic design and plush, sink-in upholstery, the Social ottoman helps create informal seating spots at the workplace. Maxton Fox used the ottoman in conjunction with the Hue table to put together a comfortable space for event attendees to relax and work in during FRONT.design.

Podium range

Two pieces from Maxton Fox’s new Podium range also featured at their exhibition stand – the occasional circular Podium table as well as the sit-to-stand Podium workstation. An interesting attribute of the four-way sit-stand workstation is that each desk area can be controlled electronically and separately.

Puffy chair

The Puffy chair by Maxton Fox is a classic. A lightweight and adaptable design, the Puffy chair was showcased at FRONT.design upholstered in Lux Pale Rose velvet fabric, by Laine. The occasional chair works well in lobbies, receptions, breakout and informal meeting areas.
